New designs for the Brooklyn Bridge Park plaza, which would provide an entrance to the park, were released and it has been poorly received by critics. They argue that the plaza design lacks grandeur and will not live up to the great bridge and harbor that it is located in. The plaza is expected to complete by mid-2010.
